The playgrounds need serious rebuilding. Definitely not a play ground.. more of a death ground. All the swings are broken.. All the support beams are rusted, the slides and playhouses need to be reconstructed for safety. For a camping resort it's nice, but super disappointing in many ways.

This is my first time going to this campground this weekend with a family that bragged about how nice this place used to be... it was a pretty peaceful place. But the grounds need serious upkeeping. Bathrooms near the beach are completely shut down and boarded up. Very much of an eye sore to the place. Not too convenient either. Other bathrooms on the grounds were horribly disgusting. Clean up on the grounds otherwise was pretty nice.
As long as your not there to fish. Great for family camping
I have been going to Crooked Creek for years and I was quite surprised at the way things were this past weekend. Although my family and I did enjoy our weekend, I found the price for tent camping to be quite high at $22/night considering the bathrooms are a mess. There were no sinks,no toilet paper,clogged toilets,nasty floors and barely any light bulbs. The parking lots used to be pretty well lit but not anymore. It was dark and creepy. The beach and concession stand area was boarded up,no showers. Looked abandoned. Had to go to the camper area to use the showers. 1 out of 4 showers worked. The park itself was pretty clean and nice for bike riding. But it's pretty obvious that the buildings have been neglected. Would be a great place to camp if someone tended to the buildings and made an effort to provide a clean,pleasant experience.
