Was very disappointed in a meal I purchased Thursday! The spaghetti was delicious! Love it everytime. But this time I wanted meatloaf and ordered the larger portion because I’ve eaten their meatloaf before on the buffet and love it. However, they don’t tell you they serve a different kind when ordering to go! It was 2 meat patties not seasoned at all and didn’t even taste like meatloaf! It had cheese and tomato sauce on top. Was not good at all. In fact, I called them back thinking they served me the wrong plate. That’s when I was informed that’s how they do their meatloaf to go. That’s not right and seems like false advertisement when you serve real meatloaf on the buffet and something else that is not meatloaf when ordering to go! Will NEVER order meatloaf again from them and will definitely ask before ordering anything else different if it’s the same as on the buffet! Not a happy person and still wanting REAL meatloaf!
Ville Platte's Best Kept Secret! This little cafe on Lasalle Street is the heart of the working community. They serve breakfast and lunch Monday thru Saturday each week. The folks are home spun and the food is home done! Best Cajun gumbo in Central Louisiana, and certainly the best in Ville Platte. Miss Darlene and her crew will fix up with any number of mouth watering dishes on her menu, and you can guarantee to get genuine hospitality, along with extremely good prices. The Cafe De Lasalle also does professional catering. I know from personal experience Miss Darlene caters beautifully for weddings and many other events.
First time here but good impress on food and some attention. Can I say two thumbs up.
